Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): The Haryana government has formulated a comprehensive, multi-layered action plan to rejuvenate the Yamuna River and curb environmental pollution. Under this initiative, the state will develop an additional treatment capacity of 580 million litres per day (MLD) for sewage and industrial wastewater. Furthermore, nine biogas plants will be set up to process 1,455 tonnes of organic waste daily through scientific disposal methods.
