Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Urban civic amenities, electrical grids, and transit networks across Haryana are poised for major upgrades following a series of high-level project sanctions. Presiding over concurrent sessions of the High-Powered Purchase Committee and the High-Powered Works Purchase Committee at Haryana Niwas in Chandigarh, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini authorized structural and procurement proposals totaling over 340 crore rupees. Strategic rate negotiations conducted with various commercial bidders during the review sessions resulted in a direct fiscal saving of 15.11 crore rupees for the provincial exchequer.
