National Times Bureau :- A joint team of  Panipat CIA-1 and the Special Task Force, Sonepat arrested four miscreans after a brief exchange of fire in the Israna area of Panipat. During the encounter, one of the miscreants, Parmeet, sustained bullet injuries and was immediately rushed to the hospital.  The other three accused, Devender, Sahil and Aman, all residents of Haryana were arrested.  Panipat SP Bhupender Singh said the accused were wanted in a case related to an extortion demand of Rs 2.5 crore from a businessman, Yashpal Garg, a resident of the Chandnibagh police station area, on December 18.…

The incident occurred near Gharaunda when a truck, reportedly driving on the wrong side of the highway, rammed into a Haryana Roadways bus, crushed a motorcycle, and later collided with a car before overturning in the middle of the road.
