Chandigarh (Gurpreet Singh): Haryana Transport Minister Anil Vij on Monday announced that the state government is preparing to promote electric vehicles (EVs) on a large scale by proposing a 100 per cent tax exemption on EV purchases, similar to policies implemented in Chandigarh and Delhi.Speaking to mediapersons ahead of the Haryana Cabinet meeting in Chandigarh, Vij said the proposal has already been sent to the government with the aim of encouraging more people to switch to electric mobility.He said the state government believes tax relief on electric vehicles would significantly increase public interest and accelerate the adoption of eco-friendly transportation…
