Alberta and Build Canada Homes Partner in $385-Million Drive to Expand Affordable Housing

Edmonton (Rajeev Sharma) — The Government of Alberta has joined forces with Build Canada Homes to deliver over $385 million in combined funding aimed at expanding below-market housing options throughout the province. The collaborative initiative will finance 21 development proposals this year, adding a minimum of 1,460 subsidized units designed to ease living cost pressures for lower-income households.
