Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh) — Haryana Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao announced on Saturday that Mahendragarh district has been equipped with four new Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances to ensure timely and modern medical assistance for all citizens under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. With the inclusion of these state-of-the-art vehicles, the total fleet of government ambulances in the district has expanded from 26 to 30, significantly strengthening regional emergency healthcare services.
Highlighting the critical importance of immediate medical intervention, the Health Minister noted that the first hour following road accidents, heart attacks, brain strokes, severe injuries, or complex delivery complications represents the critical “golden hour”. Medical experts emphasize that receiving appropriate care during this timeframe drastically increases a patient’s chances of survival. The deployment of these ALS ambulances ensures that patients can receive advanced medical attention before reaching the hospital.
The newly inducted ambulances function as mobile intensive care units equipped with modern life-saving equipment, including ventilators, defibrillators, multi-parameter monitors, oxygen support systems, and other advanced diagnostic devices. Trained paramedical staff on board will continuously monitor vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels while delivering immediate emergency treatment en route.
Minister Aarti Singh Rao emphasized that the Haryana government continues to make substantial investments in healthcare infrastructure under Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s administration. Key initiatives include constructing new hospitals, upgrading existing health centers, procuring advanced equipment, appointing specialist doctors, and expanding the ambulance network. She reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to expanding emergency medical services further so that no citizen is deprived of rapid, reliable healthcare during critical situations.
