Enforcement Directorate Searches Punjab Minister Sanjeev Arora’s Home Again in Ongoing Investigation

Chandigarh (Gurpreet Singh): The Enforcement Directorate on Saturday launched another search operation at the Chandigarh residence of Punjab Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora, intensifying its ongoing investigation into suspected financial irregularities.

A team of ED officials reached the minister’s residence in the morning, with multiple agency vehicles seen stationed outside the premises as the search continued for several hours. This is the third time Arora’s property has been searched in connection with the case.

The agency had earlier conducted raids on April 17 at several locations associated with the minister, including residential and office premises, as part of a probe linked to alleged foreign exchange law violations.

The fresh action comes shortly after ED officials carried out searches at the Western Towers residence of Nitin Gohal in Kharar. Gohal is suspected to have acted as a liaison in matters now under the scanner of investigators.

While officials have remained tight-lipped about details of the latest operation, sources indicate the agency is closely examining financial records and possible transaction trails connected to the wider investigation.

No official response from Minister Sanjeev Arora has been issued so far regarding the latest ED action. The probe is expected to continue as investigators gather more evidence.
