National Times Bureau :- The Punjab government has appointed 2011-batch IPS officer Nanak Singh as the new Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Ropar range. In a concurrent development, Sandeep Goel, AIG of AIGTF Ludhiana, has been posted as DIG of the Border Range, Amritsar. The posting follows the suspension of former Ropar range DIG, Harcharan Singh Bhullar, on October 16, after his arrest by the CBI.
