Calgary Police Release Photos of 15 Wanted Suspects in Major Extortion Investigation

Calgary (Rajeev Sharma): The Calgary Police Service (CPS) has released the identities and photographs of 15 individuals wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation into a series of alleged extortion-related offences. Police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating the suspects as investigators continue efforts to dismantle organized criminal networks believed to be involved in extortion activities across the city.

According to CPS, the investigation relates to incidents involving threats, intimidation, property damage, and other criminal acts that have primarily targeted members of Calgary’s South Asian business community. Police say extortion is a serious criminal offence that causes significant financial losses and emotional distress to victims, and they are encouraging anyone who has experienced similar incidents to report them without hesitation.

The individuals wanted by police are Ravjot Toor, Germanjeet Singh, Jaskaran Singh, Karanbir Singh, Amandeep Singh, Anurag Sidhu, Anurag Singh, Amandeep Mallhi, Sandeep Singh, Daksh Gautam, Akashdeep Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Pardeep Singh, Taranveer Singh, and Gurkaran Dhaliwal. Investigators believe public assistance will be vital in locating the suspects and advancing the investigation.

The Calgary Police Service stated that combating organized extortion remains a high priority and that investigators are working closely with provincial and federal law enforcement partners to hold those responsible accountable. Police also continue to encourage victims and witnesses to come forward, assuring them that every report helps strengthen the investigation and improve community safety.
