Mumbai| The Reserve Bank of India has proposed cash deposit in banks through Unified Payment Interface mechanism.RBI has also proposed making UPI payments through Prepaid Payment Instruments wallets. Announcing the monetary policy outlook, RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das said, Deposit of cash through Cash Deposit Machines is primarily being done through the use of debit cards. Washington | A 41-year-old man convicted of shooting and killing two people, including an Indian, in the US state of Oklahoma in 2002 was executed. Michael Dewayne Smith was executed by lethal injection at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in the McAlester town, private television station reported.
