The electoral triumph establishes a historic milestone on campus, marking the very first time the student organisation has successfully defended and maintained the presidential office for back-to-back terms.
Originally from Jind, Haryana, Bidhan prevailed after an intense, closely fought campus race against competing student outfits and independent contenders. The annual elections draw widespread voter engagement across all university departments, serving as the primary vehicle for student governance and campus-level policy advocacy.
Following the declaration of the official tally, supporters gathered across the campus to celebrate the organisation’s consecutive win. The newly constituted students’ council will interface directly with university administrators on key campus priorities, including student welfare initiatives, academic resource enhancements, hostel amenities, and overall institutional infrastructure.
