Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh)– Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that India’s GDP growth of 7.8 per cent in the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27 is yet another reflection of the country’s strong development trajectory under the able and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi. The achievement demonstrates that despite global economic challenges, the Indian economy continues to move forward with strength and consistency.
While speaking in the House during the ongoing Vidhan Sabha Session on Monday, the Chief Minister said that India has neither bowed down nor slowed down, but has continued to move forward. Achieving an economic growth rate of 7.8 per cent despite challenges arising from global developments, fluctuations in international crude oil prices and supply-chain disruptions reflects the strength of India’s economic fundamentals and the confidence driving its growth.
He said the growth rate is the outcome of the collective efforts of 140 crore Indians, the country’s growing economic strength and the able leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi.
The Chief Minister said that India’s development journey has once again demonstrated its strength before the world. He expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi for this historic economic progress.
