Chandigarh, November 30, 2025: Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan offered prayers at the world-famous Shaktipeeth Mata Bhadrakali Temple in Kurukshetra on Saturday. During the visit, he prayed for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the people of the country. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was also present with him during the ceremony.
The temple’s Peethadheesh, Pandit Satpal Maharaj, performed the rituals according to tradition and guided the Vice President during the worship. After offering prayers, the Vice President bowed before the sacred Shaktipeeth. Pandit Satpal Maharaj also presented him with a memento as a mark of respect.
Vice President Radhakrishnan arrived at the temple as part of his Kurukshetra tour, accompanied by Chief Minister Saini. His visit not only enhanced the spiritual atmosphere of the region but also highlighted the cultural and historical significance of Kurukshetra. Devotees and local residents expressed great enthusiasm upon his arrival.
