Chandigarh (Gurpreet Singh): Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday congratulated the Indian women’s cricket team for their brilliant win against Australia in the semifinals of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025, calling it a moment of immense pride for the entire nation.

Expressing his joy over the victory, Mann hailed the team’s performance and lauded captain Harmanpreet Kaur, who hails from Punjab, for her inspiring leadership. “A great victory for the Indian women’s cricket team… Defeated Australia by 5 wickets in the semi-final of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025… Congratulations to the entire team including the captain and the pride of Punjab Harmanpreet Kaur and best wishes for the final match… Chak de India…” the Chief Minister said in his message.
