National Times Bureau :- A shocking incident has rattled the town as a young man, identified as Veerpal, died while in police custody. Veerpal had been taken into custody a few days ago in connection with a murder investigation in Masitaan village.
Family Accuses Police of Brutality
Veerpal’s family has lodged serious allegations against the police, claiming that he was subjected to physical abuse during detention. The family alleges that Veerpal was beaten mercilessly and even stripped, adding that the police themselves provided him contraband, raising questions over the circumstances of his death.

The incident has drawn attention due to a similar case in the area. A few days ago, Sarpanch Harmesh Singh Gora’s son, Sukhjinder Singh, had died allegedly due to a drug overdose.
