Virsa Foundation Presents “Mela Virse Da 2026” in Abbotsford

Abbotsford (Richa Walia): Virsa Foundation is set to organize the grand cultural event “Mela Virse Da 2026” on July 4, 2026, at the AG-REC Centre, Abbotsford. The ladies-only annual mela will celebrate Punjabi culture, traditions, entertainment, and community spirit while also supporting a meaningful cause. The event will feature well-known personalities including Eknoor Dhaliwal, Anmol Ratan Group, Jinder Saini, special guest Raman Sandhu, Aman Rozi, and Gurdev Kaur. Organizers are expecting a large gathering of women from across the Lower Mainland and nearby communities.

The event will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at AG-REC Centre, 32470 Haida Drive, Abbotsford, B.C. Entry tickets are priced at $20, while children under five years of age can attend free of charge. Tickets will include exhibitions and entertainment programs. Multiple food stalls will also be available during the event. Tickets are available in Abbotsford at Prince Video, New Abby Indian Cuisine, High & Fashion, Linkin Studio, Dr. Balwinder Kaur Brar, and Divdeep Kaur Brar UK. In Surrey, tickets can be purchased from Payal Business Centre. Organizers stated that the stage will not be open for advertisements during the program. The event is also being organized as a fundraiser for Abbotsford Hospice and Grief Society.

Dharamveer shared the information with National Times and stated that the event aims to promote Punjabi heritage, bring women together through cultural celebrations, and support community wellness initiatives through fundraising efforts.
