National Times Bureau :- A major mishap was averted in Ludhiana when a bus carrying at least 55 young players from Sangrur came in contact with high-tension wires in the Kochar Market area on Friday. The incident occurred as the bus was heading toward the venue of a sports competition scheduled for Saturday. According to eyewitnesses, the high-tension cables hanging low in the area got entangled with the metal angle mounted on top of the bus, causing sparks to fly.
