The child, Gurkaran Singh, had fallen into the borewell at Chak Samana village on the Hoshiarpur-Dasuya route, prompting an urgent response from emergency teams and district officials. The operation, which lasted nearly nine hours, saw rescuers working under challenging conditions to ensure the boy was pulled out unharmed.
