Chandigarh, December 11, 2025: Punjab’s crackdown on drugs continued on the 285th consecutive day as police arrested 85 drug smugglers during statewide raids under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s ongoing anti-narcotics campaign, Yudh Nashian Virudh. Officials said 74 FIRs were registered after raids at 338 locations across Punjab. With the latest action, the total number of arrested drug smugglers has risen to 40,109 in 285 days.Police recovered 2 kg of heroin, 335 intoxicant pills and ₹800 in drug proceeds during the day-long operation.
