Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday gave the green light to construct outer ring roads and bypass corridors around towns and cities with populations exceeding 100,000 to alleviate urban traffic congestion. Presiding over a high-level review meeting in Chandigarh focused on the adoption of a financial model for state contributions, Saini directed officials to formulate policies aligned with central government norms to expedite execution. A three-member committee comprising representatives from the Finance, Public Works, and Urban Local Bodies departments has been constituted to oversee cost-sharing frameworks with the Centre for projects totalling approximately ₹9,700 crore.…
