Over 20,000 Candidates Complete Physical Measurement Test as Haryana Ensures Seamless Recruitment Process

Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): The Haryana Staff Selection Commission has successfully conducted the Physical Measurement Test for approximately 20,000 candidates at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula. Nodal Officer and Commission member Bhupender Chauhan confirmed that the process, which took place between April 20 and April 30, continues to move forward with rigorous arrangements in place to ensure transparency and administrative efficiency. Under the continuous inspection of HSSC Chairman Himmat Singh and a dedicated team of board members, the recruitment drive has been organized to handle the large influx of aspirants while maintaining high standards of management from the entrance to the exit.

To facilitate the massive exercise, a multi-departmental workforce of roughly 250 personnel has been deployed, including medical teams from the health department, police officers, and staff from the physical education and municipal sectors. The administration has prioritized candidate convenience by providing dedicated bus services from the Zirakpur bus stand starting at 5:00 AM daily. Within the stadium premises, essential facilities such as secure and free baggage counters, shaded rest areas, and clean drinking water have been established to accommodate the thousands of youth arriving for their scheduled shifts.

The commission has streamlined the testing sequence, noting that each candidate typically completes the entire measurement cycle within 40 to 45 minutes. However, officials have issued a specific advisory regarding the Aadhaar-based biometric verification process, urging candidates to ensure their thumb impressions are updated in the national database to avoid technical delays at the stadium. Aspirants are further encouraged to adhere strictly to the four designated time slots of 6:30 AM, 8:30 AM, 10:30 AM, and 12:30 PM as printed on their admit cards to ensure the testing environment remains orderly and efficient for the duration of the recruitment cycle.
