Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): The Haryana Government has ordered a significant administrative reshuffle, issuing transfer and posting orders for 17 IAS and 8 HCS officers with immediate effect. According to the official orders released by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, several key departments including Information and Public Relations, Medical Education, Transport, and Municipal Corporations have seen changes in leadership.
Under the new assignments, senior bureaucrat G. Anupama has been given the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary for the Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Department. C.G. Rajini Kathan will now also serve as Commissioner and Secretary for Medical Education and Research alongside his existing responsibilities in Finance and Mining. Meanwhile, K. Makarand Pandurang has been named Commissioner and Secretary for Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture as well as Mines and Geology.
The restructuring also brings key personnel changes to state media and municipal governance. Dr. Aditya Dahiya has been appointed as the Director and Special Secretary for Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture, while maintaining his role with the Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited. Dhirendra Khadgata transitions to Director of Medical Education and Research and Director of Haryana State Transport, with Pradeep Dahiya taking charge as Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation Gurugram.
Other notable reassignments include Rajiv Ranjan taking over as Secretary of Personnel, Training and Parliamentary Affairs, and Pankaj assuming duties as Secretary of the Haryana Public Service Commission and Managing Director of HPGCL. Position changes were also executed across various District Rural Development Agencies, local administration posts, and state boards, with posting orders for HCS officer Pradeep Ahlawat-2 set to be issued separately.
