Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh) — Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday announced financial assistance of ₹5 lakh each for the kin of individuals who lost their lives in a series of tragic road accidents across multiple districts. Expressing profound grief over the casualties reported in Kurukshetra, Sirsa, Ambala, and Faridabad, the Chief Minister affirmed that the state government stands firmly with the bereaved households during this period of distress and will extend all necessary administrative and humanitarian support.
The relief package covers the families of six individuals who were killed in a road accident in Kurukshetra on September 24, as well as the kin of three people who died in a separate mishap in Sirsa on the same day. Additionally, the administration sanctioned ex-gratia compensation for the households of six victims who lost their lives in a tragic collision in Ambala on September 27.
Financial aid of ₹5 lakh was also granted to the grieving family of a young girl who succumbed to a fatal accident in Faridabad on September 27. Reassuring the public of the administration’s commitment to standing by citizens in times of crisis, Chief Minister Saini conveyed heartfelt condolences to the affected families, noting that the government remains fully responsive to their needs as they navigate this difficult tragedy.
