Rajeev Sharma :- In a horrifying incident, a father and son were stabbed to death by their neighbour in Delhi’s posh Chittaranjan Park on Friday night over a monetary dispute.
The deceased have been identified as 62-year-old Rakesh Sood and 27-year-old Karan Sood. Karan’s cousin Rahul also sustained injuries during the attack and is currently undergoing treatment.
Police said they got information about the incident around 9:30 pm and immediately sent a team to the spot. A father and son were found lying in a pool of blood and were taken to Max Hospital, where doctors declared them dead on arrival.
Soon after, police launched a search operation. After checking CCTV footage, they tracked the escape route of the accused, Asad, and later arrested him.
According to police, the accused went to the victims’ house with a planned intention and attacked Karan, Rakesh, and Rahul multiple times on the neck and other parts of their bodies.
Initial investigation suggests the attack was due to a money dispute between the accused and the victims. Karan, who worked in his father’s property business, had reportedly argued with Asad earlier on Friday.
