National Times Bureau :- A speeding Thar vehicle struck two pedestrians near 11 Murti Road in the capital city, resulting in one death and leaving another seriously injured. The injured person has been admitted to the hospital and is reported to be in critical condition. According to police sources, the driver of the Thar has been taken into custody. Bottles of alcohol were recovered from the vehicle during the investigation. The incident occurred just 2 kilometers away from the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Delhi Police are conducting a detailed probe into the case due to its serious nature.

On July 23, a commercial truck arriving from the United States was sent for secondary inspection at the Blue Water Bridge port of entry.
