Chandigarh| In response to intelligence information collaboratively gathered by the Delhi Police (Crime Branch) and the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), a shipment of Fresh Apples imported from Afghanistan at ICP Attari on September 22, 2023, underwent interception and examination by DRI officers. The total consignment consisted of 2503 plastic crates containing Fresh Apples. Upon inspection, it was discovered that nearly all apple crates had a thick yellow-colored paper sheet carefully placed at the base.
