New Delhi (Rajeev Sharma): Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh is set to return to Indian stages with his much-anticipated Aura India Tour, taking his live show to major cities across the country later this year.
The tour will kick off in Delhi on November 1, followed by performances in Indore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Lucknow. Chandigarh has also been included in the tour itinerary, although the date and venue for the city are yet to be announced.
According to the tour announcement, Diljit will perform at some of the country’s biggest venues. The Delhi show is scheduled at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, while Indore’s concert will take place at C21 Estate.
The Ahmedabad leg is scheduled for November 21 at Narendra Modi Stadium, followed by a Mumbai performance on November 27 at Mahalaxmi Race Course. Bengaluru fans will get to see the singer on November 29 at Nice Grounds, while Lucknow is set to host the tour on December 5 at 19th National Jamboree Ground.
The announcement has also revealed the ticket-sale schedule, giving RuPay credit cardholders an early opportunity to book their passes.
RuPay cardholders get first access
The pre-sale will open on October 6 from 12 noon onwards exclusively for RuPay credit cardholders.
Tickets will subsequently become available to the general public from October 9 at 2 pm. The tour posters indicate that tickets will be sold exclusively through BookMyShow, with BookMyShow Live producing and promoting the shows.
The tour is presented by Chivas, while Mirchi is listed as the media partner and Live Nation as a partner.
Chandigarh date still awaited
While seven cities have been announced as part of the Aura India Tour itinerary, Chandigarh has been marked as “Coming Soon”, with the venue listed as TBA.
The announcement is expected to generate significant interest among Diljit’s Indian fanbase, particularly following his expanding international touring schedule and growing profile as one of the most prominent Punjabi performers on the global stage.
With stadiums, racecourses and large entertainment venues featuring on the itinerary, the Aura India Tour is shaping up as another major homecoming for the singer, who is known for combining Punjabi music, high-energy performances and elaborate live production.
Fans now have two key dates to remember: October 6 for the RuPay pre-sale and October 9 for the general ticket sale.
