On Thursday morning, widespread heavy rainfall, coupled with hailstorms, struck multiple areas in the Tricity region. Hailstorms resulted in roads in Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, and Kharar taking on a white appearance. The traffic flow was disrupted in several locations due to these weather conditions. Heavy rain accompanied by hailstorms lashed various parts of Tricity on Thursday morning. Roads in many parts of Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula and Kharar turned white after hailstorms.
