Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that the 650th Prakash Parv of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji in 2027 will be celebrated throughout the state in a grand and dignified manner. To prepare for these celebrations, the state government will constitute a high-level committee that will outline the programs and ensure their successful execution. The Chief Minister provided this information while addressing a press conference held in Chandigarh on Tuesday following a cabinet meeting, noting that a delegation from Haryana will participate in special religious and spiritual programs in Varanasi on July 29.
On this historic occasion, in the presence of several senior leaders—including Bharatiya Janata Party National President Nitin Nabin, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha National President Lal Singh Arya—a Kalash adorned with the holy soil from the birthplace of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji will be formally handed over to the Haryana delegation. The delegation will then arrive at the Sirhaul border in Gurugram on the evening of July 30 with the holy Kalash, where it will receive a grand welcome from senior party leaders before being enshrined at the Shri Sheetla Mata Temple in Gurugram.
On August 4, the soil from this holy Kalash will be formally provided to the district presidents and social representatives of all 27 organizational districts of the BJP in Haryana. Following this, the holy soil will be taken to every village across Haryana to convey the message of harmony, equality, social justice, and human welfare of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji to every citizen, ensuring the Samrasta Sankalp Abhiyan succeeds with widespread public participation. Cabinet Minister Krishan Bedi, Additional Director of Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture Department Manish Lohan, Chief Minister’s Media Advisor Rajeev Jaitley, and Media Secretary Praveen Atre were also present during the press conference.
