Haryana Government Announces Free Bus Travel for NEET Re-Exam Candidates

Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): In a major relief for students appearing in the NEET re-examination, the Haryana Government has announced free travel facilities in Haryana Roadways buses for candidates scheduled to take the examination on June 21, 2026.

The decision has been taken on the directions of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to ensure that students face no difficulties in reaching their examination centres.

According to a government spokesperson, the State Transport Department has issued the necessary instructions to implement the initiative. Under the arrangement, NEET candidates will be allowed to travel free of cost in Haryana Roadways ordinary buses on June 20 for reaching their examination destinations and on June 21 for travelling to and from their examination centres.

The spokesperson said candidates will be required to present their valid NEET admit cards to avail themselves of the free travel facility.

The move is aimed at easing transportation-related concerns for students and ensuring smooth participation in the re-examination process.

Officials said the initiative reflects the Haryana Government’s commitment to supporting students and providing them with a hassle-free environment during important competitive examinations.

The NEET re-examination is scheduled to be conducted on June 21, and the free travel facility is expected to benefit a large number of candidates across the state.
