Mothers and Grandmothers Honoured at Happyness Wellness Society’s Heartwarming Mother’s Day Brunch

Surrey (Richa Walia): The Happyness Wellness Society hosted a heartfelt and memorable Mother’s Day Brunch to honour mothers, grandmothers, and the spirit of motherhood within the community. The special celebration marked the Society’s third consecutive annual tribute under the theme “Mavaan Thandiyan Chaavan,” recognizing the unconditional love, sacrifices, and nurturing role of mothers and grandmothers.

While speaking at the event, Tarana Kaur said that the Society, founded four years ago, has remained dedicated to community wellness and senior support. She further shared that its free yoga services for seniors, running successfully for more than eight years, continue to promote healthy aging and provide culturally inclusive wellness opportunities for seniors who may face language or accessibility barriers in accessing recreational programs. The event was attended by distinguished guests including Shelina Mewani, owner of Nana’s Kitchen, and Linda Annis, whose presence added warmth and encouragement to the celebration.

Special recognition was given to Tarana Kaur for her outstanding leadership, dedication, and continued service to the seniors community, helping make the event meaningful and memorable for all attendees.

The Society also expressed sincere appreciation to Kuldeep Virk, Asmita Lawrence, Deepa Sharma, and Charanjit Grewal for their valuable contributions toward the successful event hosted at Lovely Sweets & Restaurant. Gratitude was also extended to Seerat Jewellery for supporting the celebration. The Mother’s Day Brunch beautifully reflected the Society’s continued commitment to promoting wellness, supporting seniors, and strengthening community bonds through compassion, care, and togetherness.
“Celebrating mothers, grandmothers, and the love that nurtures generations.”
