Chandigarh, January 20 — Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will participate in a pre-budget consultation programme today in Manesar and Panipat as part of the state government’s efforts to make the upcoming budget more inclusive, development-oriented and aligned with public aspirations. The initiative is being seen as a key step towards ensuring participation of all sections of society in the budget-making process.
Senior administrative officers of the state government, industrialists, representatives of industry bodies, key stakeholders from the business community and experts from various sectors will attend the meetings in Manesar and Panipat. The discussions will focus on issues related to industrial development, investment promotion, employment generation, infrastructure expansion, skill development, innovation and overall economic growth of the state.
Through this pre-budget consultation programme, the government aims to incorporate constructive suggestions into policy formulation so that the forthcoming budget can provide a fresh direction to Haryana’s overall development while ensuring equal opportunities for all sections of society.
It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has earlier participated in similar pre-budget consultation programmes held in Faridabad, Gurugram and Hisar. During those interactions, the Chief Minister held discussions with women, panchayat representatives, social organisations and representatives from various sections of society, gathering inputs related to both rural and urban development.
The state government believes that these pre-budget consultations will play a crucial role in preparing a strong, balanced and future-oriented budget for the next financial year, with special emphasis on maintaining a balance between development, social justice and economic stability.
