Mumbai, August 25: Actor Parineeti Chopra and her husband, Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha, are set to become parents for the first time.
The actress shared the happy news on Instagram with a picture of a cake that read “1+1=3” along with an image of tiny baby feet. She also posted a short video of the couple walking hand in hand, captioning it, “Our little universe… on its way. Blessed beyond measure.”
Fans and fellow celebrities quickly filled the comment section with congratulatory messages. Sonam Kapoor wrote, “Congratulations, darling,” while Bhumi Pednekar also commented, “Congratulations.” Actress Nimrat Kaur wished, “Stay blessed. Many, many congratulations!!!” Neha Dhupia added, “Congratulations… welcome to the best hood.”
Interestingly, Raghav had earlier hinted at their plans during an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show. In a lighthearted exchange with host Kapil Sharma, he remarked, “Denge, aapko denge… good news jaldi denge,” which had surprised Parineeti at the time.
The couple tied the knot on September 24, 2023, at the Leela Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan, in a ceremony attended by prominent personalities from politics and the film industry.
On the work front, Parineeti was last seen in Amar Singh Chamkila opposite Diljit Dosanjh.
