Chandigarh | May 8, 2025 — In response to the escalating security situation across the region, the Punjab Government has established a dedicated Disaster Management Control Room to assist citizens during emergencies.
An official spokesperson confirmed that the Finance Commissioner Revenue (FCR) Disaster Management Control Room is now operational and has released two emergency contact numbers for public use:
0172-2741803 and 0172-2749901
Residents are encouraged to contact these numbers in case of any emergency for assistance or information related to disaster response and relief.
The move comes amid heightened alert levels following recent cross-border hostilities and civil defence measures across Punjab.
