Karachi (National Times): In the wake of India’s decision to ban the Pakistani entertainment industry following the Pahalgam terror attack, a post is going viral on social media claiming that Pakistani actress Hania Aamir has voiced her concerns, calling the move unjust towards innocent civilians.
Through an alleged Instagram story, it is being claimed that Hania Aamir highlighted the distinction between the actions of militants and the broader Pakistani populace.
As per the viral post, Hania Aamir said, “Just because of General Asim Munir’s actions in Kashmir, the entire Pakistani entertainment industry has been banned in India, and even social media accounts are being restricted. I respectfully request the Prime Minister of India: we, the common people of Pakistan, have done nothing wrong to India. It is the Pakistani army and Islamist terrorists who are behind the Pahalgam terrorist attack.”
“So why are you punishing ordinary Pakistanis? Please take action against the Pakistani army and the terrorists, not the innocent citizens,” she added.
It came after their were reports that she has been removed from Diljit Dosanjh-starrer ‘Sardaar Ji 3’.
However, several users have called this fake as they say no such thing was posted by her on her Instagram story.
National Times neither supports the claim nor authenticates the news.
