Mohali, February 28, 2025 – In a continued effort to serve society, Sarbatt Da Bhala Charitable Trust has donated a dead body freezer (mortuary box) to Gurudwara Bibi Bhani Ji, Phase-7, Mohali. The initiative was carried out under the guidance of the trust’s managing trustee, Dr. S.P.S. Oberoi.
Commitment to Social Welfare
Speaking at the event, Mohali District President of the Trust, Kawaljeet Singh Ruby, stated that the trust has always been at the forefront of social welfare initiatives. The donation was made in response to a request from Ward No. 12 Councillor, Paramjit Singh Happy, and handed over in the presence of Gurudwara Committee President Gurmeet Singh and other members.
Ruby emphasized that the trust has previously undertaken numerous projects to support the needy, including:
Free computer and sewing training centers for women empowerment
Monthly widow and old-age pension
Regular free medical check-up camps and eye camps
He reiterated that Dr. Oberoi’s mission is to ensure that no underprivileged person struggles for healthcare or education.

Councillor Paramjit Singh Happy expressed his gratitude to Dr. Oberoi and the trust members for fulfilling the long-pending need for a mortuary box in the area.
