Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh) — Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister Ranbir Singh Gangwa addressed the third Talent Felicitation Ceremony in Nangal Choudhary, Narnaul, on Sunday, stating that public recognition of youth achievements acts as a catalyst for community development.
Organized by the Shri Vishwakarma Social and Educational Society at the Jangid Sabha Bhavan, the event brought together prominent regional leaders, including former Rajya Sabha MP Ramchandra Jangra, former Irrigation Minister Dr. Abay Singh Yadav, and BJP District President Dr. Yatendra Rao.
During the event, Minister Gangwa announced a financial grant of ₹15 lakh from his discretionary quota toward the construction of the Jangid Sabha Bhavan. He also extended a formal invitation to attendees for the upcoming state-level Vishwakarma Jayanti celebrations scheduled for September 17 in Mahendragarh.
Transparent Recruitment & Youth Empowerment Framework
Addressing the gathering, Gangwa outlined the state government’s efforts under Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to build equitable pathways for youth in education, sports, science, and the arts:
- Merit-Based Public Employment: Gangwa emphasized that Haryana’s recruitment process operates strictly on merit (“bina parchi, bina kharchi”), eliminating patronage and unofficial costs.
- Capacity Building: The Minister noted that public acknowledgment of academic and professional excellence instills confidence in young achievers, encouraging long-term skill development.
- Institutional Support: State initiatives are designed to grant youth across rural and urban districts equal access to competitive platforms and career opportunities.
Among those felicitated at the ceremony was OBC Morcha State Secretary Sarita Jangid, recognized alongside several young high achievers from the region. Jangid Sabha National President Rampal Jangid and local community elders were also in attendance.
