He had been incarated in Silchar Jail since March under stringent under the NDPS and PT Acts. At around 1 am on Thursday, he was brought to Amritsar’s Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport, from where he was directly taken to Batala. Bhagwanpuria's arrival in Punjab comes months after his mother was shot dead in gang rivalry.
