A subsequent late-night search at his residence led to the recovery of ₹13.5 lakh in unaccounted cash, intensifying the case against him.According to officials, the arrest was made following a complaint by contractor Amarpal Singh, who had completed road repair work worth ₹3.72 lakh for the municipal corporation.
