Mukerian political defections

Chandigarh (Gurpreet Singh): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) family continues to expand as several senior Congress leaders from the Mukerian joined the party in the presence of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday. Among those who joined AAP were Sarpanch Anil Thakur, Beant Singh Randhawa, Poonam Rattu, Sarpanch Tajinder Pal Singh, Rajesh Rattu, Sarpanch Lakhvir Singh, Sher Singh Shera, and former Akali Dal Assembly candidate Sarbjot Singh Sabi.
