Mohali (National Times): In response to the sweltering conditions affecting the region, the Mohali District Health Department has issued a public advisory outlining steps for residents to protect themselves from the extreme heat. According to Civil Surgeon Dr. Sangeeta Jain, the current weather poses a heightened risk of heatstroke, dehydration, and other health complications, particularly for high-risk groups. “Extreme temperatures are most dangerous for young children, elderly citizens, outdoor workers, and individuals with health conditions like heart disease and hypertension,” she stated.
