National Times Bureau :- A shocking incident of gun violence was reported from the border town of Dera Baba Nanak on Wednesday morning, where the owner of a well-known medical store was shot dead by unidentified assailants. The incident occurred around 8 a.m. when Ranbir Singh Bedi, owner of Bedi Medical Store and son of Raghbir Singh, was opening his shop as part of his daily routine. Nafional Times Bureau :- Panic gripped Tarn Taran city after armed miscreants opened indiscriminate fire at a medical store on Sarhali Road late Saturday evening, allegedly to terrorise the owner following a ransom demand of ₹10 lakh. Biru Ram, owner of Suraj Medical Store, told police that he had received a threatening call two days earlier from a foreign WhatsApp number.
