Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Haryana Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister Ranbir Gangwa reiterated that the state government is committed to ensuring prompt justice and dispute resolution for every complainant. Presiding over a District Grievance Redressal Committee meeting at the Panipat District Secretariat auditorium on Thursday, the Cabinet Minister reviewed 15 public grievances, resolving eight cases on the spot while deferring seven for detailed inquiry and follow-up in the upcoming session.
Addressing officials and attendees, Gangwa stated that resolving public grievances remains a top priority under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. He emphasized that monthly grievance meetings provide an impartial platform where all parties are heard thoroughly before evidence-based decisions are reached, ensuring transparency and fairness in the administrative process.
The minister instructed administrative officers not to treat grievance handling as a mere formality, urging them to investigate root causes and deliver permanent solutions while holding negligent personnel accountable. Emphasizing essential civic infrastructure, Gangwa noted that schemes like “Har Ghar Jal” must reach every eligible citizen. He directed relevant departments to actively tackle monsoon waterlogging caused by rising water tables to prevent disruptions to drinking water supplies and vital civic services.
The review meeting was attended by Panipat Urban MLA Pramod Vij, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Harish Kumar Vashisth, Superintendent of Police Bhupender Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police Harshit Goyal, Municipal Corporation Additional Commissioner Vivek Chaudhary, alongside senior district officials.
