Chandigarh (Gurpreet Singh): —The Aam Aadmi Party administration in Punjab has successfully delivered on all policy guarantees pledged during the 2022 Assembly elections. AAP Punjab Media In-Charge Baltej Pannu confirmed on Monday that the state has completed all necessary administrative preparations to launch its final remaining campaign promise, the ‘Maavan Dheeyan Satkar Yojna’. Financial distributions under the initiative are scheduled to commence directly into beneficiaries’ bank accounts on July 1, following an earlier directive by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.
The initial phase of the rollout will feature a consolidated disbursement covering three months of accumulated welfare benefits. Eligible female residents from standard categories will receive a lump-sum credit of 3,000 rupees. Meanwhile, eligible women belonging to Scheduled Caste communities will receive a combined transaction of 4,500 rupees. Pannu stated that the processing system is fully prepared to ensure the secure and effective transfer of these funds starting early next month.
Reflecting on the milestone, Pannu noted that the upcoming disbursement marks a unique achievement in Punjab’s political history, asserting that the current administration is the first to fulfill 100 per cent of its explicit manifesto commitments. He emphasized that the government has consistently prioritized public accountability over mere electoral rhetoric, focusing heavily on executing long-term public service goals.
In addition to meeting its baseline campaign pledges, the Bhagwant Mann administration has introduced several public-centric welfare schemes that were not originally part of its election manifesto. According to the state media office, these supplementary initiatives have expanded the government’s social safety net, providing direct economic support and improving daily living standards for diverse communities across the state.
