Rajeev Sharma :- In a moment of pride for Punjab, a young woman from Moga district has secured a position in the Canadian police system as a Peace Officer. Jasdeep Kaur Brar, a native of Mallke village, has achieved the milestone through years of dedication and perseverance.
Daughter of village sarpanch Raja Mallke, Jasdeep has brought recognition not only to her family but also to her native region. Her accomplishment has been widely celebrated, with relatives, local residents and community leaders visiting her home to congratulate the family.
According to her father, the achievement is the result of sustained hard work and determination. He described his daughter’s journey as an inspiration for young people, especially girls, demonstrating that focused effort can overcome barriers and lead to success.
Jasdeep completed her schooling in Punjab before moving to Canada in 2012 to pursue higher education. After completing her studies, she began preparing for a career in law enforcement. Her efforts culminated in success when she cleared the required examination on March 15, 2026.
She formally joined duty as a Peace Officer on May 3, 2026, marking the beginning of her professional journey in public service abroad. Her story is being seen as a motivating example of how determination and ambition can translate into global achievements.
