# India Rejects Pakistan's Claims at UN, Questions Use of OIC Platform India strongly pushed back against remarks made by Pakistan and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) during discussions at the United Nations, describing the allegations as misleading and devoid of factual basis. Responding under its right of reply, India's First Secretary at the Permanent Mission to the UN, Anupama Singh, said New Delhi firmly rejects what it termed as malicious accusations levelled by Pakistan. She also dismissed references made to Jammu and Kashmir, reiterating India's consistent position on the issue. The Indian delegation argued that Pakistan continues to rely on repetitive narratives at international forums to divert attention from its own domestic challenges and its alleged links with terrorism. According to the statement, such attempts are intended to create political distractions rather than encourage meaningful dialogue. India also criticised Pakistan's use of the OIC platform, stating that the organisation's mechanism should not be employed to promote one-sided political agendas. The remarks suggested that such actions undermine the credibility of multilateral institutions and do little to contribute to regional stability. The diplomatic exchange once again highlighted the longstanding differences between India and Pakistan on issues related to Jammu and Kashmir and cross-border security. By issuing a strong rebuttal, India reaffirmed that it would continue to challenge what it considers inaccurate and politically motivated statements in international forums while defending its national interests.
