Haryana Government Committed to Strengthening Education and Skill Development Infrastructure: Minister Ranbir Gangwa

Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Haryana Public Works and Scheduled Castes & Backward Classes Welfare Minister Ranbir Gangwa laid the foundation stone on Sunday for a new Industrial Training Institute in Badopatti village, Hisar district. Spanning approximately 6.08 acres, the state government has allocated a budget of ₹22.38 crore for the ambitious project. The new facility is designed to provide high-quality technical and skill-based education, offering employment-oriented training opportunities to the youth of Barwala and surrounding rural areas to enhance their self-reliance.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Gangwa reaffirmed the state administration’s commitment to reinforcing Haryana’s educational and skill infrastructure. He stated that the modern, well-equipped ITI would serve as a milestone for local youth, preparing a skilled workforce aligned with current industrial requirements. In addition to the institute, the minister announced that the ongoing construction of the village road network (phirni) in Badopatti, valued at ₹1.14 crore, would be completed soon, noting that relevant departmental officials have been instructed to expedite the work.

Highlighting broader economic developments in the region, the cabinet minister revealed that development is progressing rapidly on the Integrated Manufacturing Cluster in Hisar, with a major project tender worth over ₹700 crore scheduled for allocation shortly. Furthermore, to enhance local connectivity in the Barwala region, the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board has granted administrative approval of ₹77.82 lakh for the construction of a key road link stretching from Moti Luhar Street to College Road and the Old Grain Market, ensuring better transit infrastructure for residents.
