Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): The Haryana government has approved a standardized digital system to identify, mark, and verify prime khasras across the state. Developed under the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, the initiative aims to establish a uniform, transparent mechanism for managing prime land records across all administrative divisions. Alongside the launch of the dedicated Prime Khasra Module on the Revenue Haryana portal, the government officially approved the accompanying Standard Operating Procedure and User Manual 1.0.
Financial Commissioner of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Dr. Sumita Mishra, stated that the digital module empowers authorized revenue officials to review land records, upload essential documentation, and finalize the selection of prime khasras through a structured workflow. The system eliminates regional discrepancies by offering a singular digital verification procedure for land record management statewide.
To ensure seamless implementation across all districts, the approved Standard Operating Procedure clearly outlines administrative responsibilities, while the step-by-step user manual provides technical guidance, complete with operational screenshots and verified test cases. Security certifications for the module have also been integrated to safeguard public land data.
The Department will circulate the finalized operational guidelines and user documentation to Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Sub-Divisional Magistrates, Tehsildars, and Naib Tehsildars. These materials will also be hosted on the official departmental portal to facilitate ongoing administrative reference, capacity building, and personnel training.
