Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini attended the grand concluding ceremony of Shri Ram Katha held at Shri Ram Bhavan in Kharar on Sunday evening, participating in the spiritual discourse and offering oblations during the ceremonial yajna. During the visit, the Chief Minister prayed for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the region and toured an exhibition set up at the venue detailing cultural and spiritual traditions.
Addressing the congregation, Saini emphasized that the life and conduct of Lord Ram exemplify the highest human values, moral restraint, selflessness, and steadfast duty. He stated that the teachings of the epic inspire citizens to remain anchored to righteousness and truth while dutifully serving society, regardless of external challenges. Saini noted that the narrative serves as a moral foundation of Indian culture, fostering virtues of compassion, social harmony, patience, and mutual respect among communities.
The Chief Minister commended the event organizers for hosting the gathering and promoting civilisational values that strengthen unity and social cohesion. Panchkula Mayor Shyam Lal Bansal and several local dignitaries accompanied the Chief Minister during the spiritual proceedings and exhibition walkthrough.
