Under the Mukh Mantri Teerth Yatra Yojana, a special train is scheduled to depart from Sirsa on May 15 to transport eligible residents to the historic spiritual site. This initiative is part of the state’s ongoing commitment to supporting the spiritual and social well-being of its elderly population by providing accessible travel opportunities to significant religious landmarks across the country.
To qualify for this complimentary journey, applicants must be at least 60 years of age and belong to a household with an annual family income of less than 1.8 lakh rupees. The registration process has been made accessible through the Saral Haryana portal, where eligible individuals can sign up using their smartphones or by visiting a nearby Common Service Centre. This digital approach ensures that the application process remains transparent and efficient for all participants, allowing for a broader reach across various districts.
Potential pilgrims are required to provide several essential documents to complete their applications, including a valid photo identification card and a Family Identity Card.
